      <image:caption>Dr. Abby Bird, PT, DPT, CMFA, FDN Level 1 Owner Abby has been practicing physical therapy since 2015 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from THE Ohio State University. She opened Warrior Rx in 2019. With an emphasis on injury prevention and preventing recurrence of injuries, Abby blends her skills in manual therapy and dry needling with strength and conditioning to improve movement quality and prescribe accessory programming tailored to any individual needs. She enjoys working with all athletes, but has special interest in treating crossfitters and weightlifters. A crossfitter herself, she received special certification managing all aspects needed for the crossfit athlete including olympic lifting, gymnastics, and load management. Having experienced post-operative rehabilitation and return to sport following ACL reconstruction and proximal hamstring repair, she understands the holistic needs of athletes and fitness enthusiasts throughout the entire spectrum of recovery. Her mission is to build resilience in her athletes and empower them to exceed their performance goals.</image:caption>
